Joe’s 2002 Dodge Ram

Friday, August 8th, 2008

Well folks, we have our first Dodge on the "Truck of the Day"! Congrats, Joe Hicks! Today's Dodge is a 2002 2500 SLT Laramie RAM. Joe purchased his 2002 Dodge in Spokane, Washington. "It died while on a test drive.... the injector pump failed! After it was towed back to the dealer and $1300 repair later I bought it. It's got the 5.9 Cummins, auto, 4x4, leather and every other option I can think of. This truck has along with it a Dana 70 out back with the Dana 60 up front with limited slip 3.55 gears."

Under the hood as he said we have a 5.9L Cummins Turbo Diesel, fueled by an Edge Juice with the Attitude Monitor. Other performance modifications include a FASS 150 series fuel pump system and a MBRP 4" Stainless exhaust. Before the FASS System was installed, the fuel pressure was 6psi at cruising speeds and "0" when given any kind of throttle. SCARY! After Joe installed the FASS 150 Pump with the help of his dad, he now gets a consistant 15 to 18psi all the time.

On the outside there are stainless steel running boards, a Delta Pro Tool Box and Turbo Liner to protect the bed. This truck used to have a "patched in" pair of 5" stacks coming out of the bed behind the cab. Joe says, "...they went bye bye."

To the interior Joe added a Garmin GPS system (for which his wife is extremely thankful). As you can see, this is a well put together truck. Great color, great accessory combination and totally ready to work and play all while getting 18-21+MPG!

Thanks Joe for sharing your truck with us! If anyone would like to see their truck on Truck Profile's "Truck of the Day", please click the button below and fill out the form with as much information as possible.

Rob’s 2005 F-250 Powerstroke

Thursday, August 7th, 2008

Today's Truck belongs to Robert Richman. The truck is an 2005 F-250 6.0L Powerstroke with an XLT Package, Leather Seats, Super Cab, Short Bed and 4 wheel drive. This Ford Diesel pickup also has an automatic transmission.

Rob outfitted his truck with a Stainless 4" Turbo Back Exhaust, Banks Ram Air Intake and PPE Tuner for greater performance and towing power. For comfort he added 2 - 10" subs with an MTX 1100 Watt Amp, 7" Eclipse "in-dash" DVD, Navigation and CD Player combo. The windows are set at a 5% tint and he also installed a remote start.

For a smoother ride, this F-250 sports a SkyJacker leveling kit. For wind resistance and to keep his cargo a little more safe we have an A.R.E. Fiberglass Tonneau Cover. To make the truck even more pretty than it already is Rob put on a Stainless Steel Billet Grille, Door Handles, a Billet Fuel door, Atzena Rear Tail Lights and Running Boards.

Thank you Rob for showing us your truck! If you would like your truck to be shown off in the "Truck of the Day" at Truck Profile, then please submit all of the information, history, installs, sponsors, etc in the form.

Deans F350 with Flag Bug Guard

This truck was a smooth ride and fast. Always, I was being challenged by some ricer and this truck could beat most of them, even when pulling a 7000 pound, loaded trailer. No problem for this truck to haul vehicles across States and even over the Continental Divide. One time, I was hauling a truck down to Phoenix and coming to a steep incline, all the cars and pickups were rushing to get around me (even though there were two lanes on each direction). Half way up the ten-mile hill, I had passed up most the cars and was still going strong by the time we reached the top. In fact, I was at least a mile ahead of each of them. When we came to the next big hill, nobody rushed to get around me!

This truck will always be my favorite. My son and I took a couple trips across the States in it to get to Ohio, where we have family. My wife and daughter would fly out and we would drive out. Two days - 2230 miles! We would bring the girls back with us and it would be a four day
trip.

The dually allows this truck to pull heavy loads and the truck doesn't really have to work very hard to pull it. And, the dual wheels also make the truck ride like a Cadillac. This will always be one of my favorite trucks - and probably will always be at the top of the list.

Welcome to Truck Profile 1.5!

Wednesday, August 6th, 2008

Welcome to Truck Profile version 1.5. We are trying out some new things and we are also beginning the process of moving to a newer, better Truck Profile system. Dont worry, if you are an existing member here, your account, truck profile, and content has NOT been lost. However, it will be down temporarily.

In an effort to generate more user participation, and to try something new, Truck Profile will be doing "Truck of the Day". Or at least we will try. The idea is that visitors and members will submit as much information on their trucks as possible in the submission form. Things like:

  • Year/Make/Model
  • Transmission Type
  • Customizations
  • Aftermarket Performance and Accessories Installed
  • Sponsors
  • Truck History
  • Pictures
  • "Truck Name"
  • Awards Won
  • HorsePower & Torque
  • And on and on.

We welcome as MUCH information as you can send us. Then, we will compile that information and put it into a readable format. Every night at midnight we will post a new truck. We hope that EVERYONE that submits their truck will be featured, but we cannot guarantee it. Remember, the MORE information you send us, the better your chances are.

Also, if you have a plain jane truck, with absolutely NO customization, dont be afraid to submit your information. We will still try our best to post it. Just try to get us as much information, or at least as cool of a story as possible for your truck.

To help us with advertising, all images submitted to be posted on Truck Profile may get a "Truck Profile.com" logo added to one of the corners.

We look forward to your participation, please be sure to tell your friends!
